We're ready!
Today we all ran in very challenging, but FUN races during the Festival. Amber & I ran the 5k cani-cross with 167 other dogs & their humans, so that was wicked crazy! Big sister challenged herself in the 10k race over that tough course, and her sister ran the 5k with a few hundred other runners, including some of our friends and neighbors. It was a great day!
(And, Amber kept her eye on that rooster. She could tell he was trouble!)

Things that make you go, "Hmmm..."
I'm not sure that the boat launch was a good place to put this sign for visibility, but then again, I saw it.

They both earned Viking Corps Awards!
His award was for Pre-Engineering and hers was for Early Childhood Education. The Viking Corps Award recognizes sustained excellence and sustained growth in academics. It's great to see them honored for their hard work. Way to go!

Just enough time for one more mini-adventure!
We biked around town and stopped just long enough to wander through the beautiful gardens, which are waking up to summer!
Now that I know the girls are interested, we'll definitely be stopping in to check them out more often.

Prom Night
Yes, we did take all sorts of pretty, posed portraits of them all decked out in their finery.
But, I like this one the best!
