Good morning!

I had to make sure we spent some time together in her favorite spot this morning. The weather is perfect today and it might be our last chance since it's supposed to rain the rest of the week. This is the only home she's ever known, so I'm glad that she doesn't know (although she must suspect) that we won't be living here much longer. It's a bittersweet change!

I don't have nails so I was far less confident on this trail than Amber wanted me to be! The air was crisp & cool and she thought we should run like the wind...

When it's time to trim the teams' nails, the job doesn't end just because the sun's gone down before you finish all 437. And she didn't forget Amber! Abby made darn sure they were done right too. ;-) Good job girls!

There's no place more peaceful than the woods during a snowstorm, especially after dark. I needed some peace this evening.

Temps below zero degrees Fahrenheit are really too cold for playing in the snow, but we needed a quick jaunt to blow off some excess energy, and this trek through the fields was perfect!
