As Predicted

We're sure glad that big brother is home from college on 'Spring' Break. I have a feeling he'll be booking a trip to the tropics next year though!

Biathlon

They raced in a biathlon at Roberts Farm today, and had a great time competing again. They worked hard, and each won their age group! But guess who was 6 seconds faster? 😉

Family Time

There were so many great moments this weekend, but my favorite part was us all being together!

Sprints and a Birthday

Today the Vikings hosted the annual Oxford Hills 1k Sprints and 3k at Roberts Farm, which is always a very well attended and exciting race. This year was no different and it was so much fun! The format is unusual - bracket racing for skiers. The day starts with a time trial. The top 48 skiers are then split up into heats of 6, with only the top 3 moving on to the next elimination, and so on until we have a winner. If they prefer, skiers can choose to race in a 3k instead. Sprinting isn't really his strength, but he decided to forego the longer race and try anyway. He made it into the first round of eliminations, and did his best. I am so proud of him!
I felt very fortunate that we were able to spend the day together, especially since it is big brother's 19th birthday! He came home from college for the day so that he could help at the races, which was much appreciated. Happy birthday!!

Me & My Boyz

I would like to take credit for getting them to pose like this, but I think that needs to go to the pretty young lady who agreed to take it for me! Thanks again. I love it.

Productive Day

Today they took out the rotten sections, and replaced them with new fencing. And yes, he's being productive too - it all needs to be burned and someone has to supervise the fire!

Luchador Tacos

I think the boys were okay with the fact that our original dinner plans fell through. Instead we got to try out the newest eatery in town. And it was wicked yummy!!
