Good Fortune

Today we enjoyed lunch at the Asia Eatery.  This was the fortune that I found inside my cookie.  Considering the fact that I have been many places, and have been busily planning our next trip, I thought it was quite appropriate! 

A few years ago, I posted a photo of this restaurant.  Since then we have eaten here a few times and can definitely recommend the food and the great service.

Me & My Boy

I know the kiddos don't really like their doctor appointments, but I love the one-on-one time that comes from taking one them out of school early and leaving the others to come home on the bus.  He told me at bedtime that he had really enjoyed having so much time to talk to me, which was very heart-warming.

I was having a rotten day, so my sister-in-law sent me this to cheer me up...it worked like a charm!

Running With My Boyz

It was an unseasonably warm day, so the boys & I went for a 2-mile run around downtown South Paris.  It was fun!  That brick building on the right is the Oxford County Courthouse.

Ready to March

No matter how cold it is, the boys are always happy to march in the West Paris Veterans' Day parade and do their part to honor our military.

Jelly Rolls

This morning's breakfast, made with Auntie M's jelly. There are 5 kiddos in the house. I guess-timate their life expectancy to be about 30 seconds!

Family Day

Today we met a whole bunch of family at the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray.  It was a very, very brisk fall day, but we still had a GREAT day wandering around the park visiting with each other and watching the kids play together.  Why is it that these days always end too soon?
