Introducing Princess Lizzy

We decided to keep the little heifer from the trio of cows that we rescued a few weeks ago. (We found the 2 little bulls a new home.) She is such an absolute sweetheart, and we are enjoying her company so much! She fits right in with Cooper and Lily, which was essential. They are all getting along really well, so it's been a smooth transition. As soon as the girls arrive home, they immediately go out to visit Lizzy - she's very spoiled. Considering how the first year of her life was spent, I consider that to be a very good thing!

Doe's

Doe's is one of the last gas stations that I know of where you can't 'pay at the pump'. Instead, you pump the gas into your vehicle, and then walk inside the store to pay the cashier. I don't mind the extra time & effort because they almost always have my favorite little treat right there by the register!

Is the carriage shrinking?

Every summer the kiddos humor me and pose in front of the carriage used during the filming of 'Gone with the Wind', which is my very favorite piece in the collection that is on display each year for Paris Hill Founders Day. They're growing up so fast that soon enough we won't be able to see that carriage behind them!

I love comparing the old photos with the new one each year. This was 4 years ago...

Thar she be!

This evening we took a scenic cruise around Casco Bay with family and friends to celebrate my cousin's birthday. It was a really great time, and I even got to drive the boat for a while! What an awesome experience!!

There's a new bakery in Norway!

A friend of ours just opened a new shop and she makes such delicious treats that they don't even last long enough to snap a photo!

It's a tradition!

Every time we camp at Natanis, we ride the 8 mile loop that leaves the campground on the logging road. This year we encountered a coyote on our trek! He was so confused and curious about us that we were very close before he decided to skedaddle. It was such a cool experience!

Perfect for B2B

Look at what I found in a local hand-made jewelry shop - earrings that look like my favorite lighthouse!
